Nexthink Announces the General Availability of Nexthink V6
Analytics Made Easy with New Innovative Custom Dashboards and Visualizations
Lausanne – Nexthink®, a pioneer and leader in end-user centric IT Operations Analytics (ITOA), today announced the general availability of Nexthink V6. Nexthink V6 enables organizations to create custom real-time analytics and visualizations to make smarter data-driven decisions in today’s rapidly changing business world. This innovative new release opens more possibilities for organizations to leverage IT analytics to improve both IT and business operations.
End-user analytics is changing the way IT directors and business executives understand and align IT with the business and end-user requirements. With the innovations in Nexthink V6, organizations can simplify and accelerate the management and transformation of their complex IT infrastructure, and quickly respond to new business requirements and end-user work styles.
Nexthink V6 provides:
A fully redesigned Portal:
The new Portal presents cutting edge visualizations to analyze IT environments and clearly communicate accurate data across IT and business departments. Custom analytics and dashboards can now be created in minutes.
New end-user centric analytics view in the Finder:
The new end-user view in the Finder presents an interactive timeline of all devices, activities, issues, changes and services in use. Organizations can now easily identify commonalties and patterns across end-users in just one click.
Single click investigations with progressive discovery:
More actionable drill downs from the end-user and device views enable organizations to directly understand if an event or issue is reoccurring for a specific end-user and easily verify how many other end-users are affected, which accelerates problem identification and resolution.
Collector for Windows Servers:
Extend end-user analytics beyond the first destination with a Collector on Windows Servers. This allows organizations to discover and integrate more analytics on end-user experience and services delivered, as well as verify overall security and compliance end-to-end.
HP ArcSight integration:
The Integration Toolkit module now includes certified HP ArcSight ESM integration that can be customized. Nexthink complements HP’s SIEM platform with end-user security analytics that are correlated with HP’s network, server and information security data and provides essential end-user context for more deterministic security alerts. Nexthink also helps identify security breaches, risk factors, and compliance issues much faster and empower decision making to respond to internal and external risk – before high impacts and losses.
In Gartner’s 2014 CIO survey, 80% of CIOs agree that a shift away from backward-looking, passive analysis is needed to lead in a rapidly changing digital business world.
“It’s so much easier to create custom analytics and dashboards with Nexthink V6,” said Henning Kupfer, Head of Client Management at Brose. “The redesigned Portal enables my team to create custom dashboards in minutes and present more sophisticated analytics. The progressive discovery in Finder allows us, with a single click, to identify interesting patterns and context.”
“Rather than focusing on providing technical data, with the Nexthink V6 Portal we are providing analytics of the ‘big picture’ in just a few clicks,” said Pedro Bados, founder and CEO of Nexthink. “Today the business of IT is not only about the endpoints, but about the true end-user. We believe that this new version will be life changing as it provides true end-user centric visualizations.”
